Whether it’s daily life expectations or the unexpected consequences of divorce or family struggles, working with a trusted therapist can help your child/adolescent or yourself. She strives to build on client’s strengths and develop coping skills to deal with stress, anxiety, emotional and behavioral issues. Tina’s areas of expertise include Anxiety, OCD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Depression and Learning Differences.
Tina’s approach to counseling is supportive, dynamic and collaborative. She believes that the client/therapist relationship is critical to the therapeutic process and that together you can build upon strengths to help you alleviate problem behaviors, feel better and make lasting changes. She believes that we are all unique, and therefore utilize a variety of techniques in session based on the needs of the client. These interventions derive from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Experiential/Play Therapy and Systems Theory.
As a mother of two children, Tina particularly enjoys her time working with families as they navigate the complexities of parenting in our ever changing society. She is also passionate about helping moms, new and highly experienced, to find balance and achieve personal fulfillment in their lives.
