There are many ups and downs that life brings, and we all need support in processing our emotions and experiences. I offer a highly individualized therapeutic approach, meeting my clients where they are in their mental health journey. I utilize empathetic listening and supportive communication to create a safe, welcoming space to discuss any and all topics, big and small. Therapy should be a judgment-free zone. My goal is to help my clients reach their highest potential and live a more harmonious, and happier life.
I have experience helping clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and grief, as well as stress / burnout, life transitions, self-esteem, relationships and family dynamics. But, you don’t need to know exactly what you’re seeking help for; we can work through that together.
Some modalities I use in treatment may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy and mindfulness-based approaches.
I graduated with a bachelor’s in Social Work from Skidmore College, and received a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University in 2016. For the past few years, I’ve worked in Aurora Public Schools supporting students in developing skills to increase their emotional intelligence and ability to cope with life’s stressors. In my personal life I enjoy hiking, cooking and spending time with my family.
