With her holistic philosophy, Lynda incorporates all levels into her counseling: psychological, mental, emotional, energetic, cultural, biological, genetic, social, environmental, relational and spiritual. Lynda’s background includes 28+ years of private practice as a therapist/counselor, in addition to contract work at various mental health centers in the Denver Metro Area. She created, owned and operated SoulWorks Hypnotherapy Training School for several years, and she still teaches, mentors and coaches hypnotherapists privately, as well as offering classes and groups in many subjects in addition to hypnotherapy: personal growth, intuitive awareness, writing, body image, sound healing, managing depression, exploring trauma and reducing stress. Lynda also taught for a Master’s of Counseling college program, and she supervised hypnotherapists and LPC candidates.
As a single mother of a now-grown son, Lynda understands the financial, emotional, physical and mental challenges of being a woman, a professional and a mother. Earlier in her life, she made her living as a musician/singer. With her varied life experiences, Lynda brings compassion, hope and understanding to each client’s struggles. In her free time, Lynda enjoys fiction writing, reading, walking, singing, cinematherapy, and exploring new techniques for change and growth to bring to her clients.
