How Therapy Can Help

Therapy can provide support, perspective, and practical tools for navigating challenges, improving emotional well-being, and building healthier patterns over time.

Better Understand Patterns & Behaviors

Therapy can help individuals recognize emotional patterns, thought processes, relationship dynamics, and behaviors that may be affecting daily life and overall well-being.

Develop Healthier Coping Strategies

Many people use therapy to build practical tools for managing stress, navigating challenges, improving communication, and responding to difficult situations more effectively.

Improve Emotional Awareness & Regulation

Therapy can support greater self-awareness, emotional balance, boundary-setting, and confidence in managing emotions across work, relationships, and everyday life.

Support Long-Term Personal Growth

In addition to addressing immediate concerns, therapy can help individuals strengthen resilience, improve self-understanding, and build healthier long-term habits and routines.

We Work With Your Insurance

Westside Behavioral Care works with many major insurance providers to help make therapy more accessible and affordable. Coverage for counseling may vary depending on your plan, therapist availability, and whether you are seeking virtual or in-person sessions.

You can filter therapists based on your plan to find covered care quickly.

Crisis Counseling in the Greater Denver Area and Across Colorado – Accepting New Clients

Westside Behavioral Care providers are not emergency crisis responders, but some therapists offer services for those who can wait at least 24 to 48 hours for a crisis appointment. If you or someone you know needs immediate assistance, please click here to view and contact a crisis line or organization for urgent support.

Life can turn upside down without warning — a loss, trauma, health diagnosis, or major transition may lead to overwhelming stress. Westside Behavioral Care provides access to licensed therapists who offer compassionate, stabilizing support during times of crisis.

Crisis counseling focuses on emotional regulation, safety planning, and short-term strategies to help you manage intense feelings and begin recovering your sense of control.

Our therapists work with adults, teens, and families facing grief, accidents, job loss, divorce, panic attacks, and more. The goal is to reduce immediate distress, assess risks, and create a plan for continued support. When needed, providers can also offer referrals to specialized or long-term care.

Appointments are available across the greater Denver area — including Littleton, Lakewood, Arvada, Aurora, and Boulder — or online throughout Colorado. All therapists are in-network with Kaiser Permanente and many accept other insurance types as well. You can browse available therapists by specialty, insurance, location, and age to find the right fit for your needs. For help scheduling, call (303) 986-4197 or email info@westsidebehavioral.com.
