Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Therapists in the Greater Denver Area and Across Colorado – Accepting New Clients

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a complex and deeply personal response to traumatic experiences. Whether rooted in combat, childhood abuse, a car accident, assault, or witnessing violence, PTSD can affect anyone. It may manifest through flashbacks, nightmares, avoidance of certain people or places, difficulty sleeping, mood changes, or intense feelings of fear, shame, or anger. Living with PTSD often means carrying invisible wounds that affect daily life, relationships, and self-perception.

Therapy for PTSD offers a safe and compassionate space to begin healing. Evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and trauma-informed mindfulness practices have proven effective in helping individuals manage symptoms and restore a sense of safety and control. At Westside Behavioral Care, our therapists work at your pace, tailoring therapy to your personal experiences and goals. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Appointments are available in person across the Greater Denver Area, including Littleton, Greenwood Village, Aurora, Wheat Ridge, and Highlands Ranch, or through secure online therapy statewide. All of our therapists are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many are also credentialed with other insurance plans. You can browse available therapists by specialty, insurance, location, and age to find the right fit for your needs. You can also call us at (303) 986-4197 or email info@westsidebehavioral.com for personal assistance scheduling your first session.
