Struggling with sexual dysfunction can be deeply distressing and isolating. Whether it’s low desire, difficulty with arousal, painful intercourse, or challenges with orgasm, sexual concerns can affect individuals and couples of all ages, genders, and relationship statuses. These experiences can trigger feelings of shame, anxiety, frustration, or sadness—and may strain relationships or diminish self-confidence.
Therapy offers a compassionate space to explore the emotional, relational, and psychological dimensions of sexual dysfunction. Westside Behavioral Care therapists may use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or mindfulness-based strategies. For clients dealing with trauma-related concerns, EMDR may also be helpful. Our therapists support individuals, couples, and partners in identifying underlying causes, reframing unhelpful beliefs, reducing performance anxiety, and strengthening intimacy. Healing is possible and you don’t have to navigate this alone. Appointments are available in person across the Greater Denver Area, including Littleton, Englewood, Boulder, Golden, and Arvada, or through secure online therapy statewide. All of our therapists are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many are also credentialed with other insurance plans.
