Spiritual and religious concerns can deeply affect our sense of purpose, belonging, and identity. Whether you’re navigating a personal crisis of faith, wrestling with religious trauma, or seeking to integrate your beliefs into daily life, these struggles can feel isolating and overwhelming. People from all backgrounds, whether deeply rooted in a faith tradition or exploring spiritual questions for the first time may experience anxiety, guilt, grief, shame, or confusion tied to their beliefs or experiences within religious communities.
Therapy for spiritual and religious issues can offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your beliefs, experiences, and values. At Westside Behavioral Care, many of our therapists are trained to approach these concerns through a spiritual or faith-informed lens, including Christian counseling and contemplative therapy. We integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness-based approaches, tailored to your personal needs. Whether you’re working through past harm, trying to reconnect with your spirituality, or seeking meaning during a difficult time, healing is possible with compassionate support. Appointments are available in person across the Greater Denver Area, including Broomfield, Greenwood Village, Englewood, Wheat Ridge, and Centennial, or through secure online therapy statewide. All of our therapists are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many are also credentialed with other insurance plans. You can browse available therapists by specialty, insurance, location, and age to find the right fit for your needs. You can also call us at (303) 986-4197 or email info@westsidebehavioral.com for personal assistance scheduling your first session.
