I am Alyssa Glaser, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Master of Social Work from the Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2020 and have been practicing in a clinical setting ever since. In my career as an LCSW, I have focused on helping and supporting adult individuals as a therapist. I have worked with a wide spectrum of populations as a therapist. I have worked in the field to provide crisis intervention to both individuals and families, collaborating closely with clients grappling with persistent mental health challenges, and providing therapy to justice-involved adults.
My passion lies in aiding individuals as they navigate various challenges or events in their lives. Whether it’s wrestling with depression, managing anxiety, addressing sexual health problems, navigating relationships, dealing with challenging life experiences, maneuvering through significant life transitions, or any other issue; I am dedicated to helping clients every step of the way on their therapeutic journey.
Within my work with clients, I focus on creating a safe, secure, open, and non-judgmental space so that clients may share intimate details of their lives with me without fearing repercussions. Embracing inclusivity is foundational to my practice. I believe that all parts of the client deserve recognition and encourage all clients to show up as their authentic selves. I am trained in sex therapy and EMDR.
Please note that for couples counseling I only accept couples struggling with sex related issues.
