I help clients facing a variety of life stressors and mental health issues to find clarity in the midst of challenge. I work to meet your needs in a way that fits you just right and brings insight to your situation. My approach is gently paced and non-judgmental. Beginning therapy can be scary, but your experience can feel safe, smooth, and productive. I have been a therapist for twenty years, and currently work with individual clients and couples across the lifespan.
In my practice, helping clients reach their personal goals can include finding a way through mental health challenges, and may also involve assisting those who are looking for help with work or relationship stressors, life-challenging illness, caregiving, and grief, as well as parenting support. Some clients have also enjoyed focus in areas of spiritual exploration, personal growth, giftedness, and through a lens of intergenerational trauma.
Couples come to me for help in various stages of their relationship. Wherever you find yourself struggling, I bring perspective and a way forward that respects you both as individuals and as a couple. Drawing on years of experience, I work to help you uncover and overcome obstacles, to strengthen your relationship and increase satisfaction, and to gain the skills to better communicate, support, honor, and enjoy each other.
When we work together, I use an integrated, client-centered approach, bringing compassionate curiosity, warmth, and humor to our sessions. I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapist, and am also trained to offer EMDR therapy in-person and online. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado and hold a Master’s Degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University.
