Hello, I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and earned my master’s degree from University of Southern California in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health. I have provided mental health therapy to those experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, abuse/trauma, gender related issues, career challenges, eating issues, personality disorders, sex offenses, domestic violence offenses, self-esteem issues, OCD, stress, and anger management.
Some of my experience includes working in a partial hospitalization setting with those struggling with eating disorders; community mental health center where I have worked with numerous different issues (anxiety and panic, depression, bipolar, PTSD, gender issues, psychosis, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, stress, anger etc.); The Department of Human Services as first responder for child abuse and child neglect reports; I have helped those coming out of prison seeking substance use and mental health treatment; provided sex -offense specific treatment to those who committed sexual offenses; worked with those that were mandated to engage in treatment for DUI Level II Education and Therapy, Domestic Violence Treatment, Parenting Classes and those just needing additional support looking for a different perspective.
My instinct of compassion and empathy create a safe and non-judgmental space that encourage acceptance and healing. I will meet you where you are to allow you to process at your own pace. My approaches include a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, IFS, DBT, ACT treatment models; however, I customize my approach to meet your specific needs. I constantly work with my clients to build self-esteem and strive for self-acceptance. I believe that developing and building a healthy self-esteem goes a long way with how one navigates through issues while also reducing mental health symptoms. I look forward to helping you become a happier, better, healthier you!
