My name is Natalie Dodd, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the field. Throughout my career as a clinical therapist and supervisor, I have had the opportunity to work with many children, adolescents, and adults in day treatment, residential, in-home, and outpatient settings. I specialize in working with children and adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral concerns, and complex family systems. As a therapist, I am inspired every day by the resilience and strength of my patients. Helping people find peace and healing is my greatest passion.
I have extensive experience working with children and adults with significant trauma, depression, educational and emotional disabilities, behavioral concerns, school systems, and generational trauma. As a therapist, I believe there is a reason/function behind every behavior and thought process. I work with clients to identify patterns of behavior, unhelpful thought processes, and triggers to provide a level of self-awareness and acceptance so change can occur. Through an interactive, warm, realistic, and accepting approach, I provide immediate feedback, tasks to focus on between sessions, and creative interventions, plans, and coping tools that are easy to implement into everyday life. I use a wide range of interventions, including EMDR, family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, psycho-education, behavioral management, trauma systems therapy, and parenting education.
Nothing makes me happier than helping my clients feel better about themselves! Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and validated for their experience. You are stronger than you believe and have everything you need within you already.
