Finding the right fit for your mental health journey can be daunting. Therapy is vulnerable and powerful, and finding a person to support you in this is important. I firmly believe being a therapist is not about doing something for the client, but being someone for the client. I am here to be that someone for my clients.
There is a misconception in our world that asking for help is weakness, when in fact it’s strength. I’ll be here for you, with no judgement. My therapeutic style is authentic, warm, empathetic, open-minded, and person-centered. I believe each client is the expert of their own life, and I am here to assist along the way. I utilize a strength-based approach that helps my clients learn how to process shame and live their lives with more kindness towards themselves. It is important to learn how to trust ourselves and our own internal validation.
I take my approach from different modalities including, but not limited to, DBT, TF-CBT, Person-Centered, Narrative, Systems-based, and Attachment Theory. I help my clients in discovering who they are, and that they are a gift to this world. You are worthy just by being you, and you are more than enough. I look forward to connecting!
Since I will learn so much about you, I think it’s fair you learn a little about me as well. I grew up in New Jersey (yes on the Jersey Shore) before moving to Colorado where I pursued my Master’s in Counseling Psychology, and I have loved living in this beautiful state ever since! I am the youngest of three girls, and my family have always said I can find the fun and joy in the smallest of things. Outside of work I love reading, cooking, martial arts, walking, listening to podcasts, and spending time with family & friends.
